Wir sind Cooper Barnes ("Ray Manchester" / "Captain Man") unendlich dankbar, dass er sich höchstpersönlich bei uns gemeldet hat, nachdem klar war, dass wir nach Los Angeles reisen werden.
Dank ihm hatten wir die einmalige Gelegenheit, das original Henry Danger Set im Nickelodeon Bereich in den Burbank Studios zu einem „run trough“ zu besuchen. Bei diesem spielen die Schauspieler eine Folge mit den original Kulissen durch. Es wird jedoch noch nicht gefilmt. Quasi eine Generalprobe. Eine Gruppe Zuschauer darf dabei sein – zu dieser gehörten wir. :)

Auf der Hinfahrt mussten wir mehrmals den Bro Song hören..! xD

Thanks to him we had the unique opportunity to visit the original Henry Danger Set in the Nickelodeon area at Burbank Studios for a "run through". In this, the actors play through a series with the original scenes. However, it is not being filmed yet. A dress rehearsal. A small group of visitors is allowed to be there - we belonged to them. :)

Wir erreichten die Burbank Studios frühzeitig und unsere Personalausweise wurden überprüft. Dann durften wir den Bereich betreten und uns umziehen. Wir hatten im Vorfeld abgeklärt, ob es ok ist wenn wir unsere Cosplays tragen. :)
Markus (modellbaubert) hat während er auf mich gewartet hat den Propbauer kennen lernen dürfen, welcher zufällig vorbei kam.
Trotz Silikon anrühren für die Masken, was immer etwas dauert waren wir zeitig fertig und wurden von Scotty begrüßt. Er hatte uns alle Infos zu diesem Tag zukommen lassen sowie
unsere Fragen beantwortet. :)
Mit ihm sowie weiteren Fans warteten wir gemeinsam in einem Raum in welchem uns die Regeln erklärt wurden. Unter anderem, dass wir nicht über die Folge sprechen dürfen bis sie ausgestrahlt wurde. Ein bisschen Smalltalk über uns und dass wir aus Deutschland angereist sind kam ebenso auf. Und Jeffrey Nicholas Brown (Henrys Vater – "Jake Hart") schaute kurz herein. Er war also der erste Schauspieler, den wir am Set sahen. :D
Als nächstes ging es durch die Gänge, die mir bereits von einigen YouTube Videos bekannt waren. In diesen hängen wundervolle Momentaufnahmen der Henry Danger Serie. Und man läuft
an den Türen der Schauspieler, Maskenbildner, Kostümdesigner, .. allen Crewmitgliedern vorbei. Schließlich betraten wir das original Set von Henry Danger..!!
Zuerst sahen wir die Kulissen von hinten – Holzbretter und Holzbalken und dann standen wir direkt neben der Man-Höhle..!! O___O
Es war einfach überwältigend! ♥
Schon begrüßte uns der Regieassistent Mike Caron höchstpersönlich mit einem high five und meinte, dass wir eine lange Anreise hatten. Wir konnten es kaum glauben, wirklich da zu sein und ihn zu treffen. Kurz darauf ging es auch schon los. Als Cooper Barnes ("Ray Manchester" / "Captain Man") uns sah, winkte er freudestrahlend und wir winkten ebenso freudestrahlend zurück..! xD
Alle Crewmitglieder waren sehr routiniert und es war höchst interessant sowie unterhaltsam, dem Geschehen zu folgen.
Von den Zuschauern durften die Kinder in erster Reihe am Rand des Studiobodens sitzen. Dahinter standen die Eltern und wir.
Regieassistent Mike Caron hatte einen fahrbaren Stehtisch mit allerhand Technik sowie einem Laptop darauf. Dieser Stehtisch hat am Boden ein paar Kabel mit zum jeweiligen Set hin
und her geschleppt.
Wir sollten alle leise sein, durften aber lachen. Dieses Lachen wird jedoch nicht aufgezeichnet - die Lacher in der Serie werden später von Band eingespielt.
Am Rand standen alle anderen mitwirkenden Personen, u.A. die Drehbuch-Schreiber und die Produzentin - alle mit dem Skript in der Hand. Diese haben bei den Gags gelacht und applaudiert, wenn alles
geklappt hat. :)
Es wurde eine komplette Folge durchgespielt. Dabei wurden mehrere Kulissen verwendet. Das Team und die Zuschauer sind jedes Mal mitgewandert.
Was alles in der Folge geschah durften wir bis zur Erstausstrahlung niemandem verraten. ;)
Es handelt sich um "The Beginning Of The End" - Staffel 5, Folge 41.
Wir waren am Dienstag, den 15.10.2019 am Set zu Besuch und die Erstausstrahlung der Folge in den USA war am Samstag, den 29.02.2020.
In Deutschland heißt die Folge "Der Anfang vom Ende" und hatte seine Erstausstrahlung am 13.08.2020.
Wir konnten es immernoch nicht fassen, dass wir wirklich in unseren Kostümen am Set waren und gerade alle live sehen konnten..! O__O
Direkt nach dem "run through" kam Cooper Barnes ("Ray Manchester" / "Captain Man") zu uns und begrüßte uns mit einer Umarmung. Wir bedankten uns nochmal herzlich, dass wir dank seinem Einsatz da sein durften. Und er freute sich ebenso, dass wir es geschafft hatten, zu kommen. ^^
Markus (modellbaubert) bekam Panik weil direkt nach der Probe alles in der Man-Höhle zum Schutz mit Tüchern abgehängt wurde – dabei hatten wir so sehr gehofft, dort noch ein paar Fotos mit unseren Kostümen machen zu dürfen.
Zu unserer Erleichterung kam kurz darauf ein netter Herr, der fragte, ob er die Tücher nochmal für uns weg machen solle. Diesem Vorhaben stimmten wir freudig zu. :)
Wir hatten nicht viel Zeit, nutzten diese aber so gut wie möglich. Mit dem Ergebnis, ein paar kurze Videos sowie Fotos in der Man-Höhle erhalten zu haben. Die Röhren wurden sogar
aktiviert – dies hatte zur Folge, dass Luft durch starke Ventilatorn durch den Boden kam und es authentischer aussah, wenn man „Rauf die Röhre, hopp!“ rufte. :D
Die Röhren selbst dürfen Besucher jedoch aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht benutzen. ;)

Einmal haben wir dies gemeinsam mit Cooper Barnes ("Ray Manchester" / "Captain Man") gemacht – er nutzte die linke Röhre. Markus (modellbaubert) und ich quetschten uns in die rechte.. xD

We reached Burbank Studios early and our ID cards were checked. Then we were allowed to enter the area. After
that we put on our Captain Man and Kid Danger Cosplays. We had clarified in advance whether it would be ok if we wear our Costumes. :)
Markus (modellbaubert) was able to get to know the prop builder, while he was waiting for me.
Despite stirring silicone for the masks, whatever takes a while, we were finished early and were greeted by Scotty. He had sent us all the information about that day and answered
our questions. :)
With him and other fans we waited together in a room in where the rules were explained to us. Among other things, that we are not allowed to talk about the episode until it was broadcast. A
little small talk about us and that we came from Germany also came up. And Jeffrey Nicholas Brown (Henry's father - "Jake Hart") looked in briefly. So he was the first
actor we saw on the set. :D
Next we all went through the corridors that I already knew from some YouTube videos. Wonderful snapshots of the Henry Danger series hang in these. We pasted the doors of the
actors, makeup artists, costumes designers, .. all crew members. Finally we entered the original Henry Danger set..!!
First we saw the scenery from behind - wooden boards and wooden beams and then we were right next to the Man Cave..!! O___O
It was just overwhelming! ♥
The assistant director Mike Caron personally greeted us with a high five and said that we had a long journey. We couldn't believe we were really there and to meet him. The
"run through" started shortly afterwards. When Cooper Barnes ("Ray Manchester" / "Captain Man") saw us, he gave us a happy wave and we waved
him happily back..! xD
All crew members were very experienced and it was extremely interesting and entertaining to follow the action.
From the audience, the children were allowed to sit in the first row on the edge of the set. The parents and we were standing behind them.
Assistant Director Mike Caron had a rolling table with a variety of technology and a laptop on it. This table dragged a few cables back and forth to the respective set on the
floor.
We should all be quiet, but we were allowed to laugh. This laugh, however, is not recorded - the laughs in the series are recorded later by the band.
Beside stood all other contributors, including the scriptwriter and the producer - everyone with the script in hand. They laughed at the gags and applauded when everything went well. :)
A complete episode was played through. Several sets were used. The team and the spectators have migrated every time.
Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to speak about what happend in the episode till the first broadcast. ;)
It's "The Beginning Of The End" - Season 5, Episode 41.
We were on set on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 and the first broadcast of the episode in the USA was on Saturday, February 29th, 2020.
In Germany, the episode is called "Der Anfang vom Ende" and was first broadcast on August 13, 2020.
We still couldn't believe that we were really on the set in our costumes and could just see everyone in person! O__O
Right after the "run through" Cooper Barnes ("Ray Manchester" / "Captain Man") came to us and greeted us with a hug. We thanked him again for
his commitment to make it happen that we were able to visit them. And he was also happy that we had managed to come. ^^
Markus (modellbaubert) got panic because immediately after the rehearsal everything was hung up in the Man Cave for protection with blankets - we had hoped so much that
we could take a few photos with our costumes there.
To our relief, a nice gentleman came shortly afterwards, who asked if he should remove the blankets again for us. We happily agreed to this. :)
We hadn't much time, but we used it as much as possible. As a result, we received a few short videos and photos in the Man Cave. A part of the tubes were even activated - with
the result that a strong airstream came through the floor so it looked more authentic when you shouted "Up the tube!". :D
The tubes itselfes weren't activated. Visitors are not allowed to use them for safety reasons. ;)

Wir bekamen Komplimente für unsere Kostüme und Jace Norman ("Henry Hart" / "Kid Danger") berührte meine Maske. Ihre sind auch aus Silikon erfuhren wir dabei. :)
Markus (modellbaubert) hat außerdem unauffällig eine Mappe für uns mit einem weiteren Foto von Captain Man und original Henry Danger Logo Stickern in die Hand gedrückt bekommen! :D

Am Set sahen wir auch Henrys Eltern Jeffrey Nicholas Brown (Henrys Vater - "Jake Hart") und Kelly Sullivan (Henrys Mutter - "Siren Hart") sowie Michael D. Cohen ("Schwoz Schwartz") und eine/n Schauspieler/in, über welche/n wir noch nicht sprechen durften.
Dies können wir nun aufklären - es ist Tommy Walker ("Drex") und wir haben uns sogar kurz begrüßen können. Außerdem hatte er als einziger Schauspieler auch sein Kostüm an, was ziemlich cool war! :)

We can now clear this up - it's Tommy Walker ("Drex") and we even had a brief welcome. He was also the only actor wearing his costume, which was pretty cool! :)

Wir haben die Kostümdesignerin Kristin Dangl ♥ kennen gelernt, mit welcher ich schon länger auf Instagram vernetzt bin. Dank ihr durften wir zum Abschluss mit in die heiligen Räume der Kostüme.
Dort lernten wir die anderen Kostümdesignerinnen kennen und bekamen die original Kostüme von Captain Man und Kid Danger gezeigt. Wir bekamen viel Lob für unsere Cosplays und konnten sie direkt mit den Originalen vergleichen. Die Farben haben wir wirklich gut ausgesucht. Und unsere Freundin lainsan hat mit dem Nähen der Oberteile anhand von Fotos aus dem Internet unglaublich exakt gearbeitet. ^__^
Markus (modellbaubert) selbstgemachte Silikonabzeichen des Henry Danger Logos haben ebenso große Anerkennung bekommen.
Ein absolutes Highlight war, dass ich mal kurz das original silberne Oberteil von Kid Danger anprobieren durfte!! O________O

We got to know the costume designer Kristin Dangl ♥, with whom I have been connected on Instagram for a long time. Thanks to her, we were allowed to visit the sacred rooms of the costumes.
There we met the other costume designers and they showed us the original costumes of Captain Man and Kid Danger. We received a lot of praise for our cosplays and were able to compare them directly with the originals. We chose the colors really well. And our friend lainsan worked incredibly precisely with sewing the tops using photos from the Internet. ^__^
Markus (modellbaubert) homemade silicone badges of the Henry Danger logo have also received great appreciation.
An absolute highlight was that I was able to put on the original silver top from Kid Danger!! O________O

Die Kostümdesignerin Kristin Dangl hat u.A. für die X-Man Filme gearbeitet. Sie hatte überlegt, ob sie Spandex-Superhelden Kostüme oder etwas militärisch angehauchtes mit Gürteln etc. machen soll. So wurde es für die Henry Danger Serie ein Mix daraus – aber für Kinder natürlich bunter. :)
Sie hat gefragt, was wir sonst noch für Kostüme machen und war hin und weg von unseren Cosplay-Arbeiten. Vor allem von Markus (modellbaubert) Spiderman. ^^
Es war wirklich sehr schön bei den Kostümdesignern. Uns wurden Fotos von den Schauspielern gezeigt als sie noch jünger waren. Diese hängen dort an einer Säule. Darunter war z.B. ein älteres Halloweenfoto – für Riele Downs ("Charlotte Bolton") hatten sie eine weibliche Variante von Captain Man geschneidert und für Ella Anderson (Henrys Schwester - "Piper Hart") ein Kid Danger Kostüm. Total süß! ♥
Wie wir u.A. erfuhren, bestehen die original Captain Man und Kid Danger Masken lustigerweise aus exakt den selben Materialien wie unsere. Sie benutzen außerdem den selben Hautkleber. ^^
Kathy (shinzo):
The costume designer Kristin Dangl has among other things worked for the X-Man films. She had considered whether to make spandex superhero costumes or something military-style
with belts, etc. So it became a mix for the Henry Danger series - but of course more colorful for children. :)
She asked which Cosplays we worked on beside Henry Danger. She was very impressed of Markus (modellbaubert) Spiderman. ^^
It was a really nice time we spent with the costume designers. They showed us photos of the actors when they were younger. These hang on a pillar there. Among them was e.g. an older Halloween
photo - for Riele Downs ("Charlotte Bolton") they made a female version of Captain Man and for Ella Anderson (Henry's sister -
"Piper Hart") a Kid Danger costume. So cute! ♥
How we learned, the original Captain Man and Kid Danger masks are funnily made of exactly the same materials as ours. They also use the same skin glue.

Als ich mich umgezogen habe, hatte Markus (modellbaubert) das Glück, Cooper Barnes ("Ray Manchester" / "Captain Man") nochmal kurz zu treffen. :D
Es war ein überwältigendes Erlebnis.
Alle waren sehr positiv zu uns und haben uns viele Komplimente für unsere Kostüme gemacht und sich bedankt, dass wir da waren.
Solch ein positives Feedback haben wir nicht erwartet.
Als Cosplayer freut man sich natürlich über Lob, da man viel Zeit und Liebe für's Detail in seine Kostüme steckt. Aber wenn man die unglaubliche Erfahrung machen darf, dieses Lob direkt von den
Schauspielern, die man mit dem Kostüm verkörpert sowie den Kostümbildern, welche diese Kostüme kreiert haben und allen die an dieser Serie
mitwirken zu erhalten, ist dies das Höchste der Gefühle. Von dieser unbeschreiblich positiven Erfahrung werden wir noch lange zehren. ♥
Natürlich haben wir das ganze Lob auch an unsere Freundin und Schneiderfee lainsan weiter gegeben, welche die Schnittmuster für unsere Oberteile entworfen und die schwierigen
Materialien zusammen genäht hat. ♥
Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön an die gesamte Henry Danger Crew! Ihr habt diese unglaublich-lustig-verrückt-sympathische Serie erschaffen und uns sowie millionen andere damit
begeistert und viel Lachen auf Gesichter gezaubert. Henry Danger wird immer einen besonderen Platz in unserem Herzen haben und jeder einzelne von euch ist ein Teil davon.

When I changed my clothes, Markus (modellbaubert) was lucky enough to meet Cooper Barnes ("Ray Manchester" / "Captain Man") again. :D
It was an overwhelming experience.
Everyone was very friendly to us and complimented our costumes and thanked us for being there.
We did not expect such a positive feedback.
As a Cosplayer of course you are happy about
praise, because you put a lot of time and love for detail into your costumes. But if you have the chance to get the incredible experience of receiving this praise directly from the
actors you embody with the costume and the costume designer who created these costumes and everyone involved in this series, this is the
ultimate feeling. We will continue to draw on this indescribably positive experience for a long time. ♥
Of course, we also passed on all the praise to our friend and tailor fairy lainsan, who designed the patterns
for our tops and sewed the difficult materials together. ♥
Many thanks to the entire Henry Danger crew! You created this incredibly funny-crazy-pleasant series and
inspired us and millions of others with it and conjured up lots of laughs on faces. Henry Danger will always have a special place in our hearts and every one of you is a part of
it.
