Die Overalls haben wir gebraucht über das Internet gefunden. Originale Nomex Flightsuits, wie sie auch im Film verwendet wurden. :)
Bis wir "No Ghost"-Patches gefunden hatten, die unseren Qualitätsansprüchen genügen, mussten wir leider zwei Fehlkäufe in Kauf nehmen und letzten Endes auch nochmal per Hand nachsticken.
Bei den Gürteln hatten wir anfangs weiße genommen und diese gefärbt. Leider fingen die Metallteile dadurch aber an, zu rosten.. x__x#
Inzwischen sind modellbaubert und shinzo auf Gürtel von www.gbfans.com umgestiegen.
Für die Anhänger am Gürtel haben wir ein paar Meter Lederstreifen gekauft und diese mit Druckknöpfen versehen. Die verschiedenen Metallteile für die Schlüsselanhänger haben wir im Internet und im Bauhaus gefunden.
Bei den Schuhen hatte nur shinzo Glück, originale Carolina Jump Boots zu ergattern, die Jungs geben sich mit normalen schwarzen Stiefeln zufrieden.
Wir haben über eBay vier originale funktionstüchtige Motorola MT500 Funkgeräte ersteigert. Leider mussten wir aber feststellen, dass wir auch einfach kaputte hätten kaufen könne, die wesentlich billiger gewesen wären. Denn in den USA kommunizieren die Funkgeräte mit den Relaisstationen, die überall stehen und welche wir hier nicht haben.. :/
Außerdem ist die Frequenz in Deutschland genehmigungspflichtig.
Die Handschuhe haben wir lange gesucht und gefunden.
Unsere ersten Perücken haben wir mit Hilfe von unserer Freundin lainsan gestylt.
Unsere aktuellen Perücken haben wir inklusive Styling bei myCostumes gekauft.

Until we found "No Ghost" patches, which meet our quality standards, we had to accept two mispurchases and in the end we had to re-stitch them by hand.
For the belts we had taken white ones in the beginning and colored them. Unfortunately the metal parts started to rust. x__x#
In the meantime modellbaubert and shinzo have switched to belts from www.gbfans.com.
For the pendants on the belt we bought a few meters of leather strips and provided them with snap fasteners. We found the different metal parts for the key rings on the internet
and at our local hardware store.
For the shoes only shinzo was lucky to get original Carolina Jump Boots, the boys are satisfied with normal black boots.
We bought four original working Motorola MT500 radios on eBay. Unfortunately we had to realize that we could have just bought broken ones, which would have been much cheaper.
Because in the USA the radios communicate with the relay stations that are everywhere and which we don't have here... :/
Furthermore the frequency in Germany is subject to approval.
We searched for a long time and found the gloves.
We styled our first wigs with the help of our friend lainsan.
Our current wigs we've bought including styling at myCostumes.
Da Janine Melnitz in den Filmen keinen Overall und auch kein Protonenpack besitzt (ich aber beides haben wollte ;D), habe ich mir für mein Cosplay einen Mix aus den Filmen und der Zeichentrickserie ausgedacht. ^^
So trage ich den Overall wie Janine ihn im Film gehabt hätte - mit ihrem Nachnamen "Melnitz". Aber die Perücke sowie Brille und Schmuck wie in der "The Real Ghostbusters" Zeichentrickserie, da ich denke, dass man sie so sehr viel schneller erkennt.
Die grüne Brille hat modellbaubert aus Draht geschweißt. Anschließend habe ich dieses Gestell mit Fimo überzogen und gebacken. :)
Die Ohrringe und Kette habe ich aus Holz gebastelt und mit gelbem Lack versehen.

Since Janine Melnitz doesn't own a jumpsuit or a Proton Pack in the movies (but I wanted both ;D), I came up with a mix of the films and the cartoon series for my
cosplay. ^^
So I wear the overall like Janine would have had in the film - with her last name "Melnitz". But the wig as well as glasses and jewelry like in the "The
Real Ghostbusters" cartoon series, because I think you can recognize her much faster that way.
The green glasses are welded from wire by modellbaubert. Then I covered this frame with polymer clay and baked it. :)
I made the earrings and chain out of wood and provided them with yellow varnish.

Diese Variation von Egon Spengler hat Markus (modellbaubert) für das Kinoevent 2018 getragen.
Wie bei der Szene im Gerichtssaal bei Ghostbusters II.

Für das Ghostbusters Museumsevent hatte ich mir schonmal kurzfristig ein "The real Ghostbusters" Janine Melnitz Sekretärinnen Outfit zusammen gestellt. Das hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich es nochmal richtig umsetzen wollte. :)
So trug ich diese Variation für den FaRK Trailer.

For the Ghostbusters Museum event, I
had put together a "The real Ghostbusters" Janine Melnitz secretary outfit at short notice. I liked it so much that I wanted to do it right again.
:)
So I wore this variation for the FaRK trailer.
